About our Auburn masonry contractor team

Our story starts with my dad's brick jobs
I grew up handing brick to my dad on his jobs, and he's the one who taught me this trade. I started United Auburn Concrete and Masonry here in Auburn in 2020. Most of our calls come from people in older brick homes and from people planning a wall, a walk or an outdoor kitchen.
The jobs I like best are the ones where something's gone wrong and nobody's sure why. A wall that gets patched without anyone knowing why it cracked usually ends up needing the same work again, and that bothers me more than losing a job. So I'd rather take a look and find the cause before we fix anything, and I'll tell you straight when it's something an engineer should see first. On an older house, I also want the repair to suit the house it's on.

What our values mean on your job
When you hire us for brick, stone or block work, here's what you'll notice from the first visit at your house to the cleanup at the end.
The same person from estimate to finish
I come out to look at your job myself, and I'm on site working with our crew when we build it. What we talked through at your house is what gets done, because there's nobody in between to lose the details.
Repairs that fit the house they're on
On older brick and stone, we pick the mortar and materials to suit what's already in the wall. That way the repair works with the old masonry and looks like it belongs there.
A free estimate that explains the why
We come to your home, look at what you're dealing with and write down what we plan to do and why. It's free with no obligation to hire us, and you can ask for one on our contact page.
Licensing and insurance for masonry work in Auburn
Licensed and insured.
The City of Auburn requires any company or person doing business in the city to hold a city business license before work starts and to renew it every year. It's a fair thing to ask any mason you're weighing, us included.
The state rule for larger home jobs
In Alabama, anyone who builds, remodels or repairs a home falls under the state's home builder licensing board when the total cost, counting labor and materials, comes to more than $10,000, unless the work is outside what the board covers. On a bigger project, check that your contractor's license fits the job before you sign.
